Hey Beautiful Soul! Whew! Are you hanging on to this rollercoaster ride we call “life”? I want to remind you that ANY blessing is considered a manifestation because it literally comes down to how you choose your focus. And using the Law of Attraction doesn’t mean you are completely void of all negative energy. YOU are the creator of your perceptive reality because the Universe exists in ALL ways simultaneously (it’s your vantage point that creates what is “real”). A Manifesting Exercise For YouTo put what I mean into perspective for yourself, I have another manifesting exercise for you. Over these past 2 weeks I’m going to list out experiences of my own, not in any particular order, just whatever comes to mind over the past 2 weeks: ▪ | A natural gas explosion happened outside of my community (-) |
▪ | I stayed in a hotel with my dog, Gilley, because I had to evacuate (-) |
▪ | My hotel expenses are being reimbursed (+) |
▪ | My Instagram profile is dead, Instagram won’t let me back into it, so I’ve quit Instagram (2 years of work and a couple thousands of dollars on my social profile…down the drain) (-) |
▪ | My laptop broke and I’m still trying to figure out a way to fix it (-) |
▪ | My laptop is broken and I cannot finish my book (currently using my work laptop for this message post today) (-) |
▪ | I have a work laptop to use for my work with the physicists, I use it for backup at this moment (+) |
▪ | I got into an argument with my sweet chemist (-) |
▪ | I manifested my own choosing of a couch and matching ottoman for FREE (+) |
▪ | Bruce Springsteen‘s guitarist and his wife follow me on Twitter (one of my most favorite guitarists) and his drummer (one of my most favorite drummers) retweeted one of my tweets (+) |
▪ | Gilley has been sick for almost 2 weeks (-) |
▪ | My doctor’s virtual visit was free (+) |
The point?I experienced both good things AND bad things over the past 2 weeks. I found myself tired and irritated by the negative experiences and began stating: It’s always something, if it’s not one thing, it’s another. Then I laughed at myself because THIS IS LIFE. Now that I’ve listed out my experiences from these past 2 weeks, I’m going to circle the positive ones. Then, I’m going to type out/write out these sentences again, but this time I’m going to state and plug in: I’m so grateful…(insert sentence) because…thank you, Universe! By performing this exercise, I’m choosing my focus and I’m choosing to conjure feelings and emotions ABOUT my focus so that I can CELEBRATE the phrase: It’s always something, if it’s not one thing, it’s another. Because, really, it’s true however way I choose to focus. Now it’s your turn to do this short, 5-minute exercise and let me know how it goes for you! You can even take it a step further and write out all the negative sentences again and state WHY these experiences are actually a positive experience for you (meaning, what did you learn from it?). |
