Hey Amazing Soul!

In the Law of Attraction, like attracts like. Chances are, if you are reading this, you may be similar to me in your persona and your energy. I must admit, my out-of-alignment day that started on Tuesday has turned into an out-of-alignment week. Normally I have 1 or 2 days every month where I feel wobbly with my energy. However, with being an empath, I almost feel like I’m having a people-pleaser hangover all week.

Are you also an empath? Read this to find out.

I’m usually bursting to get my words typed out into my blog posts, I feel excited making progress each day with my steps on my entrepreneurial journey, and I look forward to grinding away for hours on end with my craft.

I’m a recovering people-pleaser and perfectionist.

I say “recovering” because I still allow people’s guilt trips to seep into my empathetic interior from time-to-time. And I still want to be the best at everything I do. Being an entrepreneur is not for the weak, especially when you start getting noticed for your soul’s purpose-work.

If you think life is a roller coaster, becoming an entrepreneur is like being on that roller coaster and being on steroids.

It’s not always so scary. But, if you are reading this and you are an entrepreneur, or an aspiring entrepreneur, there are many ways entrepreneurs climb up the ladder in the sea of entrepreneurs. There are business pods, affiliation commissions, software robots, etc., but the main reason why entrepreneurs climb up the ladder is because of this:

They believe in themselves and they NEVER give up.

You’ll get wrung tightly like a towel by people and you’ll STILL keep going because it’s your passion. Whether your passion is to help others in the world, make a ton of money, become famous, WHATEVER your reason, it’s that reason that creates your drive to keep going no matter what happens.

Take this 81 year-old “amateur” inventor in science, for example, quite fascinating stuff he invented- without having a PhD, too!

A lot of entrepreneurs do not take a day off, especially in the beginning of their start-up. And this journey can be very challenging for empathetic people because our energy is 1,000,000% precious to us. If we aren’t on our “A-game”, we feel like everything in our business is falling apart around us. And this can be very disheartening and exhausting.

Being an Empath Means You Love to Please People, But Can Empaths be Successful Entrepreneurs?

Let me be honest about this: no matter how hard you try, you will NEVER be able to please everyone. And this is actually a GOOD thing. But, this will probably be a difficult challenge for you as an entrepreneur. While we are all human, even though others sometimes forget that we ARE still human with feelings and emotions, it’s very important to have healthy boundaries in place while accomplishing your business dreams.

This is common sense stuff, but in our race to make an impact in the world, we tend to forget some of the most important aspects of being human. Take out your journal or laptop. Here are some questions to ask yourself in order to put healthy boundaries into place while growing your empire:

1) How many days per week will you allow yourself to work? It is important to have some down time for “me” time. Think of the energy-cup metaphor, you cannot perform well being on an empty cup.

2) Who is your ideal consumer? Meaning, what is their age, their sex, their challenges and what they want to solve, their personality type, their hobbies, their learning style, etc. Anyone who does not fit into your consumer profile, don’t accept their money. It’s not worth it because they are not in alignment with YOU and what YOU provide to them.

This does not mean they aren’t an ideal client. There are so many AMAZING souls in the world who help others, and we all have a niche. This is why I say it’s a GOOD thing to not be able to please everyone. Like attracts like. It’s the Law of Attraction!

3) Where do you draw the line? You want to HELP others, this is in your nature, but where do you draw the line with someone taking advantage of you? You spend hours upon hours working behind the scenes to create your products, you deserve to be compensated for your crafts. Create a policy plan and have it place so you can use it as a guide for the times you run into business challenges with consumers. Also, you’re a mentor, not a vending machine. Have a healthy boundary set in place.

4) What does it mean to be a Leader? Chances are you want to mentor others because you want to help them. This makes you a leader. Ask yourself during your Mastering ManiFASTing journalingWhat is my legacy after my time on earth expires? How do I want to be remembered by others?.

Obviously, we are human, we are going to make mistakes both in business and in life. It’s okay and this doesn’t mean you aren’t good at your craft. You’re human. Period. So relax, focus on what kind of leader you strive to be, how you want others to be motivated and inspired by you, and understand that you cannot force others to change. They still have to do it, themselves, if they so choose to because of free-will. You’re a leader, not a dictator. Lead by example. It’s up to everyone else to get into the driver’s seat of their own lives and actually MAKE the changes. You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot force it to drink the water. Right? OWN your leadership like the total Badass that you ARE as a leader. You’re doing so much better than you realize, I promise.

The clearer you get on the above, the better off you’ll be while growing your entrepreneurial empire. I totally believe in you, Amazing Soul! Stay true to your own soul, keep going every single day, practice makes for progression and progression brings your manifestations. You’ve got this!
