Hey Beautiful Soul,

The holidays and going into the new year can certainly be a time when we feel sad and passionless about our lives. Perhaps some of us feel lonely during this time of the year. I’m not one who feels lonely, probably because I pile my plate high with many activities that pull at my heart strings, but I understand many souls do feel lonely- and feel this way all year ’round.

In fact, it’s becoming quite an epidemic. What is the definition of loneliness, anyway? According to Wikipedia.org:

Loneliness is a complex and usually unpleasant emotional response to isolation. Loneliness typically includes anxious feelings about a lack of connection or communication with other beings, both in the present and extending into the future. As such, loneliness can be felt even when surrounded by other people and one who feels lonely, is lonely.
